Susana Gisbert Grifo (Valencia, 1966) is a prosecutor specializing in gender violence, spokesperson for the Provincial Prosecutor’s Office of Valencia, a writer for gender justice, an active feminist.
-Caratrista (2019). Written in Valencian, this is her first novel for young people that tells the story of Lucía, a teenager who arrives in the middle of the school year at a high school. It addresses the problem of gender violence and bullying from the adolescent prism.

The book 101 Valencian women in front of my mirror is literature with talent that aims to give voice to 101 women related to Valencia who marked a milestone in their respective fields, and does so through as many fictional stories that could well have been reality. A tribute to all those women whose achievements have changed our lives, even without anyone knowing them or their name having left a trace in history. “They are not all those who are, but they are all those who are,” said the author.
Susana Gisbert Grifo (Valencia 1966) is a well-known prosecutor specializing in gender violence, spokesperson for the Provincial Prosecutor’s Office of Valencia, writer and feminist. Her commitment to values of equality and inclusion go parallel to her novels and collaborations in the written press. Among some of her literary awards, she won the first prize in the VIII Short Narrative Contest of the City Council of Valencia or the Narrative Contest “Carolina Planells against Gender Violence”.

The work is published by Vincle, in the collection dedicated to address social issues aimed at young people and adolescents. The illustrations, as well as the cover, are by Carolina Calvo, a Valencian illustrator who is making her way with her own personality under the name @madebycarol.
Caratrista addresses the problem of gender violence from the vision they may have of it in childhood and adolescence, through the eyes of Carla, Lucia and the rest of its protagonists.
The presentation took place at the Valencia Book Fair, on April 29, 2019, with the presence, in addition to the author, of the editor Manolo Gil, the Superior Prosecutor of the Valencian Community, Teresa Gisbert, and the president of the Consell Escolar Encarna Cuenca, who acted as godmothers of luxury.
